SENIOR APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST

This job will have the following responsibilities: 

Systems developers conduct software development tasks such as programming and analysis. This also includes duties such as maintenance, testing, and client support for the developed software and the systems in which it functions. The exact languages and technologies used by individuals in this position vary by company; the systems developer must be proficient in the languages and technologies used by their company. Systems developers may work for a variety of employers, but they often work for technology-related companies. The basic systems developer generally does not supervise other employees, but they do work regularly with colleagues; in many cases, these colleagues are part of smaller organizational teams to increase communications and efficiency within projects; however, the systems developer may have supervisory responsibilities and a different team system based on their employer Systems developers' work in an office environment, generally with minimal travel required. 


Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Required Skills:


    •          5-8 years of experience


    •         Experience working with Windows Server, SQL server, & Oracle


    •         Experience testing front end and backend (SQL, Oracle & Shell scripts)


    •         Understanding of software development cycle and Release Management procedure


    •         Preferred experience with regulatory reporting and compliance applications.


    •         Familiarity with the source control (PVCS, TFS)


    •         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills


    •         Excellent written and spoken English


    •         Bachelor degree required

    The tasks will include, but not limited to:


    •         Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management


    •         Production release preparation & support


    •         Setup & configure system environment


    •         Perform test cases


    •         Deployment of service releases, patches, and customizations


    •         Ensure that solution and application support documentation such as system environment diagram, system specification/design, IF document and operations manual is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy.


    •         Respond to user inquiries


    •         Address problems raised by users


    •         Assist with the support of internal applications and infrastructure


    •         Creation and distribution of knowledge and information with other team members and the company
